About Us
The Greater Dayton Volunteer Lawyers Project is a complementary agency to Legal Aid Of Western Ohio. Our office currently has a staff of three; Kelly Henrici, Executive Director, Kathy Miller, Paralegal, and Thomas Snelling, Program Coordinator. Even with this small staff and a very frugal budget, the agency continues to provide services to approximately 1000 cases each year. Family law is the area of greatest need, but GDVLP has underserved clients needing assistance in bankruptcy, consumer law, probate law, unemployment appeals, expungements, and many other areas of the law.
VLP faces constant funding challenges, and with the current economy, there is little we can eliminate. We appreciate how the legal community steps up and assists us by volunteering and by donating through the Access To Justice Campaign. We are also grateful the generous support we receive from:
American College of Bankruptcy
CareSource
The Dayton Bar Association Foundation
Dayton Legal Heritage Foundation
The Eichelberger Foundation

Montgomery County Human Services Planning and Development Department
The Ohio Supreme Court
The Southern District of Ohio
