The VLP has a staff of two;  Helenka Marculewicz, Executive Director and Kathy Miller, Paralegal.  Even with this small staff and a very frugal budget, the agency continues to provide services to approximately 1000 cases each year.  Family law is the area of greatest need, but, GDVLP has underserved clients needing assistance in Bankruptcy, Consumer Law, Probate Law, SSI appeals, Unemployment appeals, and expungements.

AS 2011 draws to a close we are looking at additional budget cuts for 2012.   However, with a budget of $170,000.  and two staff there is little we can eliminate.  We hope the legal community will step up and assist us.
